Tea Parties

Lynley Kayes offers the complete Vintage Tea Party experience! Imagine relaxing with your friends around a table beautifully set with lovely old linen, fine English bone china, sparkling silver and glassware. Add to that delicious “home baked” cakes, savouries and sandwiches all served on elegant silver or china tiered stands! All this accompanied by loose leaf tea or freshly brewed coffee – we even supply the sugar cubes and dainty silver sugar tongs. Why not also serve bubbly in our vintage hollow stemmed champagne saucers for that extra touch of elegance?

You may select from our range of dainty sweet and savoury treats your guests are sure to rave over – or ask us if you have a particular favourite and we are happy to accommodate you. We will come to your home or venue and set up your Tea Party, make the tea and coffee and then leave you to entertain your guests. We will then return to clear up and take away the dirty dishes at a time convenient to you!

Or why not hire from our extensive range of quality vintage tableware and supply your own food – you collect and return the tableware  – no need to wash please.

At Lynley Kayes no request is too small – in fact we specialize in small events. If you simply require an elegant dessert platter or a selection of canapes or finger foods we are happy to help. We are also happy to hire the serving platter or dishes at a small extra cost to make your function a special event – we have many lovely dishes both vintage and contemporary for you to choose from – or let us choose the most appropriate.
